Ring size guide

Measure your size only in a proper jewelry store with a jeweler. The alternative measuring ways (string, ribbon, thread, or a thin strip of paper) are not reliable and there is a high chance you will order a ring of unsuitable size.

Before you begin your measurement, pick the finger on which you want to wear your ring. Keep in mind that the fingers on your dominant hand tend to be larger than those on your non-dominant hand. If that is the case, you will not be able to wear the same ring between the corresponding fingers on your left and right hands.

When you measure ring size in a jewelry store, your ring should fit snuggly on your finger without risk of slipping off. Remember, it should feel neither too tight nor too loose. It should fit across the largest part of your finger, which is the knuckle for most people.

Note: it is extremely important to check your ring size more than once! Cold weather can cause your fingers to shrink a bit, while heat or water retention caused by food, medications, or illness can cause finger swelling.

Measuring your ring size more than once is particularly important for wedding and engagement rings, as they will be worn every day over a long period. Check your size on a cold day and again on a warmer day. Moreover, if you have water retention due to illness or medication that cause finger swelling, measure your finger size several times. Checking two or three times is not going too far simply because getting it right before you place an order could save you time, frustration and money incurred by returning the jewelry or potentially expensive resizing.

The ring sizes in Maai Way online store are USA sizes. Using the International Ring Size Chart, you can convert your size and find what your USA finger size is.
